Mrs and Now 2019

Well, you have probably guessed that I have been super busy. So to bring you up to speed...









Well.... I did get married and it turned out to be an amazing day. We got married in a ceremony with  the preacher on my late father's birthday and then had the ceremony a few days later. I could not have pulled it off without my friends. My maid of honor and bridesmaids in particular. My Maid of honor was my daughter and she pulled off a surprise bridal shower - I have NEVER had anything like that and during the course of all this my estranged mother was found dead at her home. My daughter was a rock through for me the past two months. I am one lucky momma

Kristine made our bouquets and the men's boutonniere - I love Cala Lillies and she did such an awesome job - they were absolutely beautiful These three ladies are the most important to me and I love them dearly  - my two best friends and my daughter

(You may have noticed I change my dress, it was the first one I tried on and I absolutely felt beautiful.)The entire thing was absolutely perfect, my music didn't work when going down the aisle and my guests and wedding parting hummed it as my brother fist pumped down the aisle. When I say it was perfect - I have never felt so much love and happiness. The way he looked at me is a memory I will always cherish.

I love this cross and imagined my wedding underneath the day they put it up.






A few days after my wedding there was a terrible storm that took out the Willow Tree we took all of our pictures - so it will be forever just ours




My bestie Susie made sure that I had the candles and contributed a lot of the decorations - some I also got at my wedding showing at work - I was completely blessed and spoiled







I am looking forward to 2019 and am looking forward to what it holds. It did start out bumpy - I got bronchitis New Years Eve and am just now starting to feel good. I have really missed my running. What smiles did you bring from 2018 to 2019?

Okay, I know I have gone on and on about my financial fails BUT sometimes, it doesn't hurt to spend a little money especially if they are adding on to your investment of your home, right? I do  still have 25% of my income tax money left that I have been holding on to for dear life. For Valentines, my birthday and Christmas, Mr Man bought me a new kitchen faucet and I bought some new hardware for my - I got my bar pulls and cup pulls and I think they added much needed life back into my kitchen. Here is the faucet  I got at Home Depot - I love the industrial look and it has a magnet that holds it in place - that magnet has been so fun to play with and it definitely appeals to my novelty side - I had to get one with the soap dispense and since I am a lefty, any hand washing is done on the left side but I just pump into my hand and then into the left sink. I really appreciate the dispense when I have to wash my hands, very convenient.  I also like how the knob looks like a wrench -

While out Christmas shopping, Mr. Man and I ran into the Brighton store and right out front were these cellphone purses. I had not seen them and thought it was the neatest thing, you know I am a total novelty girl. I loved the concept but thought it was a little pricey, I really liked this   one I thought I would check out Amazon to see if I could find some cheaper alternatives. There were quite a few options out there. I started to get worried when surfing all the options, the models seemed to be young women, which spurred me to question if I was too old for this style. I decided to check it out anyway, so for Christmas Mr. Man got me the below from Amazon. Only issue is that my cell phone did not fit inside - just an inch or so too big but fits snugly so not worried about it falling it The first time I wore it...was absolutely liberating. 2017 Goals

Happy New Year! This is my first post on my new blog to better suit my ever changing interests. I have decided to set up some goals and remain accountable. I am excited about this blog and where it will lead almost like I have renewed purpose :) Personal Goals 1) Run/Walk 1,000 miles this year   Running is my new addiction and I say running loosely, I'm more a jogger, but hey who would have thought I would become a runner at almost 46 years of age.  Mind over matter :) I really prefer to be outside but I am a true southern girl and my bones cannot take the cold. So if the temp is below 50 I will either do my elliptical at home or the treadmill at the gym. I am starting to acquire some cute running clothes now that I am starting to see results. Along with the running I am hoping to lose 30 more pounds this year. 2)  Be more productive with my time Read more books - less Facebook . I have discovered that Facebook is my addiction and I spend way too much time on this instead
